I’m excited to be presenting the InstructiBlocks project in a fortnight’s time at TEI’17, the 11th International Conference on Tangible, Embedded and Embodied Interactions which is held in Yokohama this year. The work in progress demo paper is titled “InstructiBlocks: Designing with Ambiguous Physical-Digital Models” and explores how through the use of ambiguous text instructions a simple physical-digital model can form the basis of numerous design iterations. In the demo I’ll be showing both the original version (as shown in the video below) and also the latest version that focuses on inter-brick instructions and now runs on a tablet.
